Hi hi, I'm Rebecca Marie (but you can call me Bec)

In March 2024, I left New Zealand with a one-way ticket to the US and a simple goal: to stop waiting until I felt ready. That decision has shaped everything I've built since.

​

I'm the founder of She Shows Up, a social platform built for women, with no men, ever! It's where women can post what they want, have a more positive scrolling experience AND find women to Show Up with in real life directly from their screen time. It's like the Barbie land of social media... 

 

In October 2025 I went all in on She Shows Up, but before that I was an Entrepreneur in Residence at LevelUp - working for Linda Jenkinson and supporting high-growth founders around the world.

When I'm not building She Shows Up you can find me in the gym - probably wearing pink and most definitely trying to PB. If you need a cheerleader for your fitness journey I'm also a certified Personal Trainer offering 1:1 online coaching for people who want to push past fear and build real confidence, in life and in the gym.

I document all of my journeys, from building a company to fitness to travel to dating to mental health, on my social media.

Doing it scared (and smiling) has become my way of life and I'm so happy I can help others do the same.
